Where does Luna Chix come from?

What do I know? I just run this place. Someone must be able to explain why they are called "Luna Chix" and who "they" are.

NASTC has just signed a partnership with Luna a womens product division of Clif Bar. The Luna Chixs of NASTC will be comprised of a 5 woman team of elite instructors that will headline the NASTC womens programs and work in association with the Luna Chix brand. This elite group will be chosen on their skiing ability, communication skills, teaching skills and group interaction ability. If anyone has a favorite coach or instructor who might fit the bill, let us know soon.

Mermer might be a little busy to make a full commitment, but you might be able to get a partial committment. Katie and Megan would also make good candidates. But those are all obvious choices. I've watched Kim Reichhelm coach in extreme terrain and have been impressed. She would be a great candidate for the team.

Rusty Luna Chix/ NASTC should go between video and gear. BTW Luna and NASTC are having a contest First prize is an all expense paid Heli trip in Canada!!! We have not figured out the details of how one can win but we are open to ideas. The only criteria is it has to be a women only contest. This could be a way to generate interest on the forum. Thanks
