Video Analysis w/ V1 software

NASTC works closely with V1 and this software is great for analyzing skiers. NASTC uses this as just one of many tools to help zero in on the good and bad of technique. I have used it extensively to help my students and to analyze my own personal skiing.

There is a free version, which is great and if you step up to the plate and purchase the premium for just $39 you get some great options.

With V1 home you can even upload you skiing videos for analysis by a NASTC coach.

The V1 is pretty cool. There is some neat stuff on that program, like seeing yourself ski and then put someone like Chris skiing right next to you skiing and see the difference. You coach will give you feedback on your skiing and you can look at it as much as you want. Then add more video and see your improvement.
