Portillo 2007 - trip review

Another successful trip to South America. The snow was great this year, cold and chalky snow made for great skiing conditions. with these snow conditions and sun everyday we got 8 days of great training.

The Portillo trip was absolutely awesome. Not only the best ski vacation I've had, but probably the best flat out vacation I've had.

The weather was quite cooperative, giving us a chance to explore the mountain a bit. On the last day we were treated to 3" of fluff; a perfect cap to a wonderful week.

What really makes Portillo special, though, is the hotel experience. Roughly 400 guests converge every evening in a warm and inviting environment.

Add to that top-notch instruction and it was a terrific week, all in all.
