Rich Meyer is putting on an Avalanche Awareness Slideshow on Nov. 8 at 6:30-8:30pm at Clif Bar in Berkeley. It is free and it is just the basics. This is a teaser to get people stoked on skiing, the backcountry, safety, and generally getting more education. It is also a fundraiser for the Friends of the Mt Shasta Avalanche Center (www.fmsac.org). There will be a raffle too.
