SILVERTON,
CO
NASTC is heading to Silverton, the mecca for expert lift-served adventure
skiing. You know the feeling at a big resort on a powder day: "gotta
get our there...sweet, I got one run in before it was all tracked out."
This is not how it should be, and Silverton offers the opposite: with
no big development, no high speed lifts, and no crowds, Silverton is
how skiing used to be, plus it's full of mind-blowing terrain. Silverton
offers you the chance to ski "that peak over there but there is
no lift and I really can't climb the whole thing right now." More
good news: Silverton has done all this with positive long-term environmental
impact. This course is for advanced skiers who want to experience the
bliss of endless backcountry powder and "the most pure skiing experience
America offers." It's the real deal, and NASTC will take you there
safely plus improve your turns while you are truly "out there."
Dates: March 5-10 (5th and 10th are
travel days)
Price: $2595 dbl / $2795 sgl
Includes: 5 nights lodging, 4 days of lift tickets, 4 days of instruction
and guiding, 1 dinner, breakfasts
Levels 8-9
