"Alaska has totally intrigued
me ever since my first visit there 13 years ago. Alaska is an enchanted
land with a truly seductive wild and remote beauty, the scale of which
is out of proportion with anything in the rest of the continent. The
Chugach Mountains, with its seemingly endless peaks and glaciers all
flanked by the beauty of the sea, offer an unforgettably |

"Of all the great courses NASTC has to offer, Portillo has to be my favorite.
Portillo has a great blend of resort style skiing and backcountry access. You
can spend all morning practicing technique on the groomed pitches and --Kevin Mitchell |

"The all condition all terrain courses are my favorite concept because we first improve our clients technical skills and then have a great time trying new found skills in as many conditions as we can find" --Steve Smart |

"Grand Targhee-Jackson Hole! Easy to get to both and super friendly folks at each. Grand Targhee has awesome powder skiing, a superb CAT operation, a limited number of beds (and skiers on the hill), a logistics-ease matched by no one else except maybe Portillo everything is a stone's throw away), and great atmosphere. Jackson...well its Jackson Hole. For steeps and deeps there is nothing like it. NASTC leads the trend in taking intermediate and expert skiers on out-of-bounds adventures, so Jackson is an obvious perfect playground for our students and trainers/guides." -- Chris Fellows |

"My favorite courses are the back country courses. I love getting away
from the resorts and earning my turns! These courses always give me new knowledge
and engrain what I have already learned about skiing in the back country. The
information you learn about avalanche safety and the practice -- Alaina Henry |

"Summer skiing in South Ameica is an adventure not to be missed. Portillo - there is no comparison! The skier to terrain ratio is unmatched! you don't have powder days you have powder weeks. And with a water content equal to Utah ... the snow is epic. In the spring the resort controls openings and closures, which keeps ego corn baking in the sun until its done to perfection. what more can you want? Oh yea some one to lead you around." -- Sean Warman |
