NASTC kicked off the 03-04 season in style at Whistler/Blackcomb with top to bottom skiing all week long. Our group enjoyed the deluxe experience of a true ski in/ski out condo! Whistler has always been known for its early season conditions, but this year was one of the best. We arrived and found a foot of snow at the base and a 36” base at the summit. Harmony Bowl was open with great steep skiing. It has been five years since we were able to ski the bowl this early in the season.

We had a small but enthusiastic group of excellent skiers ripping up the off piste. As the week went on we were able to experience Whistler's finest snow, about a foot and half! Needless to say we worked on some early season powder techniques.

The snow seems to have followed us back home just in time to set us up for another exciting Jumpstart Course at Sugarbowl Dec 13-17. We’re looking forward to skiing with everyone again. See you on the hill.
