How about all that early season snow?! Tahoe’s mountaintops are still covered in white and resorts in Colorado have already opened their doors.  Ski movie premieres, 2012 Gear Guides are all ramping up the fever for ski season.  We spend months killing time until we can slide again and experience that sweet sensation of floating through fresh powder or the rush you get from arcing high speed turns down the hill.  NASTC is dedicated to helping you get the most out of every turn you make and introduce you the next level of fun….

We have a new addition to the NASTC Team here in Truckee and we would like to extend a big welcome to Nate Hanson!

A couple of words from Nate: I recently joined the crew here at the North American Ski Training Center and have been affiliated with NASTC as their uniform contact during my years at Patagonia. Over the course of our relationship I have had the good fortune to receive casual coaching from several of the NASTC trainers and have felt how small adjustments to my style and body position have improved my overall skiing. It is the subtle things that my regular ski buddies may not notice, but the trainers can isolate habits and positioning detrimental to your technique and suggest the ways to improve them. This wasn’t supposed to turn into a testimonial, but too late now. Anyway,  I’m really stoked to be part of NASTC and look forward to meeting more of you as the snow begins to fly!

Sign ups are coming in gang, so if you’ve got your eye on a particular course make sure you reserve your spot now as it may be full later on.  The Early Season Jumpstart camp will be with Richie Jameson and The All Conditions/AllTerrain at Alpine Meadows will feature Mike Hafer as one of the coaches; if you enjoy skiing with either of these amazing instructors, hurry and register either online or directly with NASTC at 530.583.4772/ski@skinastc.com
