We love Portillo, its our favorite resort south of the border, perhaps favorite anywhere! It is truly an amazing ski-centered experience where you improve tons but you also get a fun and restful vacation in a beautiful hotel with people from all over the world. You’ll ski next to World Cup racers, families from Buenos Aires, and European adventure-seekers. The runs go from beginner to expert up two sides of a valley draining into beautiful Lake Inca. Its all above tree level so there’s no tree skiing, but there is everything else: steeps, powder, bumps, groomers, chutes, open bowls, etc! The hospitality is 5-star, the food is delicious, and the amenities for after skiing fun are unparalleled.
