Snow!

30 Nov 2010, Posted by Ski NASTC in Latest News

The last couple weeks of November have brought record snowfall to the Sierras.  Ski resorts are reporting a snowfall of 7 feet, though you could find deeper spots if you know where to look.  We have conditions in places that we typically see at the end of January or early February.  It’s amazing and almost unreal!  After waiting all summer and fall to make some turns, our diligent patience has finally been rewarded with snorkel deep snow.  We must have done something right here in the Sierras to have every skiers’ wish granted.  In case you were wondering, the skiing is phenomenal and we encourage you to come out and make some turns, upcoming NASTC courses are: Total Skiing Clinic at Sugar Bowl, December 20-21 and January 13-14 and the Alpine Meadows All Conditions/All Terrain, January 23-25 (this course has developed the reputation for having some really good powder days and typically sells out quickly). We’ll ski you soon!
